I didn’t realize how important it is to strengthen your core until I had back surgery. My physical therapist showed me different exercises I could do in everyday life to strengthen my core. For example, while doing dishes… I never thought about that before. It really helps to take that pressure off my lower back.
Lately, I have been swimming and loving it! I swim a mile a day most days. I decided to look up on youtube some core exercises I could do in the pool. I posted the video below. I will start working on these today during my exercise in the pool. I am looking forward to seeing the progress I make with adding these exercises into my routine.
